This lesson introduces students to the concepts of global actors and global governance. It begins by engaging students in a drawing activity to get them thinking about which actors have the most power to shape current events. Next, it features an interactive Nearpod or Canva presentation which introduces students to various state and non-state actors. The lesson also includes a video and source-based questions. In the culminating activity, students synthesize their learning by defining concepts in a graphic organizer and applying them to their drawing.
